Please help me choose between 2 colors to go with my tile!
Comments (3)Definitely the Indian River. Your material selections sound similar to mine, and at least from my monitor, Indian River looks similar to my color (though that's not what mine is). I'm very pleased with the combination. This doesn't show the colors the best, but there's a serious shortage of natural daylight in my bathroom (it doesn't have any exterior walls)....See MoreHelp me choose my front entry porch tile, please
Comments (80)Well, painting our doors is taking much more time than anticipated! Partly bc we decided to take them off to lay flat and spray for a smoother finish. Plus my husband decided to work on building our shed yesterday so i had to wait for help on a few occasions. But we need a shed so that’s ok! Prep took forever bc the doors are not in great shape. And those darn windows! But I got both doors prepped and we sprayed 1 coat of primer on 1 door. But then couldn’t move it right away and then had to hang them before dark! So we will finish this weekend! I’ll post pics when done. Thank you!...See Morewood floors for modern kitchen - help me choose
Comments (16)I'm not familiar w/either, but I'd be tempted to stay w/the USA one. I can't believe you're paying almost double for floors you could have done yourself after closing. you mentioned a waterfall on the island, is that the only thing stopping you from doing your own floors? will you be doing that banquette too? ultimately even w/the waterfall, there are ways to change out the flooring. (similar cab color, natural white oak flooring) a really good installer could put down new floors w/the old flooring underneath the island. toe kicks would hide the gap against the perimeter cabs. warmer color flooring If you went w/whatever their basic flooring is, would that work? question, do you have to do wood in the kitchen? what about a black slate or more modern tile? loving this one. similar cabinet color and style, but look at that black waterfall! and hood vent! French Oak flooring. this flooring resembles what I have. Calif Classic Mediterranean collection. Honestly? I'd do you own flooring after moving in. get whatever basic floor they offer w/no uncharge. be there on the day of install and advise them not to use much glue or mortar....See MoreI need advice on choosing my kitchen flooring please?
Comments (2)A lot of it depends on the style and colors of the home. So if you can, post some pics of the spaces. Tile is fine for the kitchen. As is hardwood. But if your nervous and choose to go with a tile. There are so many options that can work nicely with wood. Again, depends on the style of the space. I always love a checkerboard pattern tile. It’s clean. And matches most everything....See Morenoreaster10
