Lighting Design Dilemma Bedroom

Sconce style for master bedroom?? Help!

Hello! Need help deciding on a sconce style for wall behind our bed in our master! The spots are already wired and will actually be above the headboard (not to the side). Wall is white shiplap and pictured below (sorry didn't have a better quality pic). Bed style and main chandelier are pictured below. Would love any ideas or photos!

If you want the same finish as your light but can't find one to match, get the metallic spray paint and paint the base of any of the sconces you order. The light above and below are perfect to paint yourself. You'd prob want a hammered finish spray.

The exterior is a hodgepodge victorian/gothic farmhouse. The interior has been modified several times (and not well) My kitchen is being reno'd too will have shaker cabinets. All hardwoods everywhere. Here is a photo of exterior and before pics of bedroom & bathroom

You can certainly do roman blinds. As an option, I like the Hunter Douglass Silhouette shades. If you are a do it yourself type of person you can buy a very similar shade for less and install it yourself from American Blinds. You might consider those for privacy and light blocking. I've got them in a very traditional house, but I think they would work well in a more modern application, too. I would suggest curtain panels for each side of the each of the windows. They should be hung above the top of the windows and full length to the floor.

Yes, the placement is better to my eyes for sure. Do you guys like the look of the glass vase better than the gold one in my initial photo? And I notice the candles and plant are higher than what I’d thrown up there for the photo - that looks better to me, too

Do you read in bed? If so none of the ones pictured above will be worth anything. Go to lighting store with a pictuere of your space and bed you will get proper help instead of a 100 guesses. IMO the lights pictured with the bed would have been perfect and I don’t like that chadelier with that bed , I think the bed is very elegant and the light very casual.
