Edgecomb not enough brown for me

I'm probably the only person in the world who feels this way but because of my taste in color and the colors in my home, edgecomb gray is SOOOOO close to being perfect for an all over color but I'm wanting to see more brown in it. I like the modern feel the gray gives but after about 12 paint samples I'm finding edgecomb to be my favorite but am not moving forward because I think instead of wanting a gray with a lot of brown in it, I'm wanting a VERY light brown with a little bit of gray in it. I like the darkness of edgecomb. Perfect for my home for an all over color, I don't want any darker. I tried revere pewter and liked it but it was too dark for my lighting. My eye is just craving a little more brown though. Can anyone make some suggestions? I live a long distance from the paint store and I think if I call the color consult again I'll drive her crazy. The home is a fairly updated 80's home with a lot of rustic features because I live in the mountains. The flooring is mostly a light tile with some tans in it with a dark grout. The formal living area and bedroom have carpet that is a mixture of browns, a little black, and creamy whites. We have a lot of black décor so that is why I want a little gray in there, to compliment that. Most of the trim is currently outdated oak but either going to stain it dark or switch out to pine because there is an entire knotty pine accent wall that runs along the back of the house. I am considering a very light sage either in the kitchen or for curtains because it looks very pretty up against the pine. But I want the wall color very neutral, just some warmth. Just need a little more brown in my color. Thank you for any advice!
