Beautiful space, btw. I think that a pop of a golden yellow/ ochre would keep a sophisticated look in your living room. I see you like symmetry with your pillows, so I can envision an ochre throw on your sofa, and ochre yellow lumbar pillows on your chairs. I think it would be nice to bring in a pattern on the pillows if you're up for it. Otherwise, a solid works well too.

You could similarly punch up the color just a tad with an artistic area rug. I'm not sure what climate you live in, but I have to have a throw for my couch, I'm always chilly, so that could add some color and texture.

Your space is lovely and you have done a great job so far.

Your gallery display is a little skimpy and the imbalance is distracting. Galleries are popular but really hard to successfully pull off. I would replace the small photos with a piece of large art with some color. Then add a coffee table accessory or two and a pillow or two that pulls a color that you like from the painting.

I would add plum and lavender to your gray and ivory color scheme and add to your photo gallery wall with some black frames...

I agree that yellow would be a wonderful color for pillows or perhaps lime green. A large painting with those colors in it would make a dramatic focal point. You've created a very nice room.

The plumb/ lavender combo would also look nice for a more calm feel, and the yellow/ ochre combo would add a little more energy to your space. Which color you add will affect the feel of your room. Something to think about :)
