Can't wait to see this one next year

I saw a large plant of this at our local shopping center earlier this year. It had delphiniums planted on each side and it was love at first sight. After some detective work, I found out what it was, Scrophularia auriculata variegata, and after some effort I found a mail order source for it. It arrived when our temps were around 110 and it wasn't in good shape, to say the least. It's finally recovered its looks, although not in time to gain its normal height; it should be about three feet high. I'm afraid it's going to be huge and too big for my garden! Which is why I'm anxious to see what it will look like next year.

I'm wondering what companions to put with it?? It actually looked good when the soft yellow colored Agastache Kudos Gold sited just behind it was in full flower just a couple of weeks ago, but I think this very compact Agastache will be too short a companion and it would certainly be lost with it behind. It's about to smother the pretty Callibrachoa that is at it's base. I'm worried I don't have the room in my garden to do this plant justice.
