You will need to buy the extended flange kit if you are getting one of the fireclay sinks. And you will need to decide which color you wish for the flange as well. They come with a standard depth flange in stainless that will fit 97% of all sinks. It's just the thicker fireclay ones that need the extended flange. And of course, if you prefer nickel or oil rubbed bronze for the flange, that can run into some money. They all use a standard sized drain hole (1 1/2" pipe), so you don't need to worry about that unless you are purchasing a prep sink to use with a disposer. Some of them use bar sized drains (1 1/4" pipe) that are too small to work with a disposal. If that's the case, and you anticipate using that sink as a prep sink, then it needs to be switched out to one that has a standard sized drain.

1. I think the list of stuff will all work together. 2. Since you're getting a bronze faucet, does ICE make a bronze extended flange? Or Rohl? 3. The flange that comes with the GD will be a standard flange in stainless (most likely) and not usable. It won't fit the sink. The stopper will be reusable but also in stainless or just plain black. 4. since the diameters of the flange/stopper are standard, you can buy different ones from ICE. 5. A stopper for a continuous feed is so you can keep water in the sink. It's basically a round disk with a grab knob on the shiny side. A stopper for a Batch feed also has the T-shaped bit on the bottom that activates the GD when the stopper is inserted in the correct position. I'm going to guess that a '2-position' stopper is for a batch feed model.

I didn't coordinate. I don't think an ORB extended flange or strainer was available when I redid my kitchen. Mine is just stainless. No one can see it, so I don't much care.

In planning our remodel, my plan was to eliminate the garbage disposal. We looked at an open house to get ideas for the kitchen and the realtor told us about the remodel in the kitchen in the house that was for sale. He said that there were two things that all of the prospective buyers complained about: 1) the pantry closet had been removed (every house here is built with one), and 2) there was no garbage disposal. Since we might not be here for the long term, we will keep our disposal. If you think you might put your house on the market in the near future, you might want to do what's common in your area.
