I'm just wild about Harry!
Comments (23)LOL!!!! Well, I'm not quite done re-reading the Order, yet. And I was thinking...maybe I should re-read the Half-Blood Prince, just to, you know, refresh the ol' memory. And then I was thinking I could wait for the movie, because...I'm SCARED for it to end!!!!! LOL Seriously, I got the bood yesterday, and I think I am going to catch up again with Years 5 & 6 first. Some thoughts to throw out there, though, which have been clattering around in me olde brain - In the Order of the Phoenix, there's a prophecy that only Harry or Voldemort can be left standing at the end. I just CAN'T imagine it would be Voldemort, considering all of his enemies...and Rowling already has said 2 will die in the last book. I would think V. would have to kill everyone to possibly live on. Ok, thought #2 (as in poop...LOL) - Also in the Order, when Harry goes into the pensieve and sees Snape's memories from his days at Hogwarts, Harry's father, James, and Sirius don't come off looking good at all. They are downright cruel to Snape, and as Lily (Harry's mom) says to James in the school scene, "What has he ever done to you?!" So it wasn't like paybacks toward Snape. James and Sirius were just being mean for the sake of it. Harry is sick over this scene, seeing his father behave in such a way. So then I was thinking, since Harry doesn't seem at all like his father, maybe....James isn't his father!! Maybe....Voldemort is (a.k.a. Tom Riddle)! Maybe that's why V. couldn't kill Harry when he was a baby! Oh, I have so many more thoughts on this, but I have a feeling you all might be wishing you could have just sent life support instead. LOL Brenda...See MoreAnyone ordering from Harris or Johnnies?
Comments (1)I'm a newbie so don't know if this will help, but my friend got a catalog from Thompson & Morgan with free S&H. She didn't say if there was a minimum order but I don't think so. So if you find what you want from them (at same price) then here's the code for the free S&H: 24030083 I'm not sure how all this will work out. I have not even checked out their website yet. She JUST gave this to me. Bonnie aka brit5467...See MoreOrdered Shiranui/Sumo/Dekopon From Harris Citrus
Comments (110)I have the same tree from the same place and on the same rootstock. So far, I have not repotted mine yet as whatever mix it is in, it seems to like at this point (plus it wasn't potbound when I got it). It is doing some nice flushing of leaves. Rich is a trifoliate orange rootstock and should be okay with this. Here is a GW thread on it with a couple links for more info - [https://www.houzz.com/discussions/rich-16-6-dsvw-vd~4158704[(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/rich-16-6-dsvw-vd~4158704) One of the links at that thread is this (PDF) where on pg 8 there is a category for "Trifoliate Orange" that includes Rich 16-6. Since you are in south Florida (and have a hot/humid rainy season), just make sure that whatever you mix up, drains well but has enough potting mix so that you are not watering it multiple times a day when it's not raining and the sun is blazing (unless you don't mind doing that). Here is mine this morning (we have had on and off rain for the past couple weeks - it is the tree that is sitting in the clay-colored plastic pot to the left of the plumeria & peony) -...See MoreAny update on Shiranui/Dekopon cuttings in California from UCR?
