Renovation estimate sticker shock

Sms

Hi all just got our first quote on rennovating an old pool at our new house. Existing pool is a concrete inground 20'x40' (3.5 to 8.5 depth) pool in need of new coping, waterline tile, surfacing, plumbing, filter etc. While we were at it we thought we'd add an in pool spa, automatic cover, solar heating, bench and led lighting. First quote was 2x higher than we were expecting. Going to get others and consider scaling back but thought it would be good to get feedback from anyone who might have a sense for what is reasonable.
