Can you help me with windowcovering ideas?

I've been reworking my master and I need help with my windows. I have the blinds which will stay, but I feel like I need some window coverings to soften it up.

What would you put on the windows? White sheers? Blue? Something else? I have no idea what would be the best...can you help?

What a lovely room! I would probably go with panels, the same color as your bed covering,

Another "what a lovely room". I don't think you need another thing on those windows. Your focus is the bed and you've done magnificently well with it.

The small brick half-circles are basically flower pots in the yard. Suitable for annuals and the occasional perennial and that's about it. Whatever suits your fancy. If you want to do landscaping instead, you need to make a 6' depth bed across the entire front. We don't know what the bed would do at the ends because we can't see them.

May not be enouigh sun for Dianthus. The Liriope you tried was evidently L. spicata, a species that spreads by rhizomes. Get Big Blue and try again. Or Armeria might work.

The fixture I referenced is 12" x 12", which could cover the 11 x 11 hole, depending where the attachment holes are. The fixture you have was a standard for many years. It's surprising that a cover isn't available.

I would try a light textured panel, close to the wall color. The bed is the focus and it's gorgeous but I do see some imbalance between the fullness of the bed and the sleek blinds on the windows.

This is a situation where I would make my husband stand on a chair and hold a curtain panel by the window while I decide if it works on not :)
