Where to store wine glasses?

We've reached the stage in our remodel where I'm starting to think about kitchen organization: what organization goodies we need to make or buy so we can start loading up some of the cabinets.

Pre-remodel we had very few cabinets. Our main storage for entertaining wares was in the dining room in a 5x5 IKEA shelf unit we bought when we moved in and were out of money for furniture. We have 30 wine glasses, I think, and use around half of them probably 10-15 times a year. We use all of them twice a year. Wine bottles will continue to be stored in the dining room, but box wine, which I drink most of the time because I got tired of dumping half a bottle down the sink at a time, will reside in the kitchen like it always has. Oh, they're the smallish IKEA ones so they don't take up the kind of space a proper red wine glass would. I like them because they fit in the dishwasher :-)

So do I keep the glasses in the dining room? 4-6 in the kitchen and the rest in the DR? We are hoping to move most of the serving dishes to the kitchen, but right now I'm not seeing a clear picture of how much cabinet and pantry space I'll have.

Our previously largely unused dining room now our only dining area, if that makes a difference. And we are not a formal house at all. I anticipate having a trestle table with a buffet on one side and long, low, shallow built ins on the other.
