How to incorporate copper and black pendant lights in white kitchen

Renae

New build. Kitchen has white cabinets on perimeter with gray backsplash and white/gray quartz countertops. 7 ft. Dark gray/black island with the same white quartz top. Stainless steel appliances and stainless farmhouse sink. Pantry door in kitchen is white with black hardware as are all the other doors in the house. Majority of other fixtures in the house are nickel. Would like to use 2-18 inch copper and black pendant lights to add some interest over the island but don't know what color to use for the hardware on the white perimeter cabinets, and the dark island. I was thinking of black on the white cabinets, and possible a weathered copper handle on the island. What thoughts do others have? I have also looked at black and nickel pendant lights, but not sure in this case I use nickel or black hardware on the perimeter and either way use nickel on the dark island. Ideas on this option?
