Plant ID--Kalanchoe Laetivirens/Daigremontianum/???
Comments (3)thank you both! I think Yale is right, I think it is a Mortagei. I found a link (sorry not the best photo) from the Huntington botanical gardens that looks about right: http://huntingtonbotanical.org/WhatsInBloom/feb07/feb07-Pages/Image34.html The leaflets definitely concentrate on the tip and then get sparser as they move toward the base. hopefully I can get him to bloom next winter! any advice as far as the light needs of this plant? In the photo from Huntington they look like theyre getting more direct sun than mine does (which is none). thanks again!...See MoreGnarly bryophyllum
Comments (2)Wow! That's pretty cool! It looks like a monstrose form... I wasn't aware they did that! Do the plantlets or cuttings grow the same way?...See MoreID pls. Kalanchoe sp.
Comments (14)Nicholas, All Kalanchoes which have adventitious offsets (like the traditional Mother of Millions ones that have babies on the sides of the leaves) come from Madagascar - no plants from there ever deal with a Z8 winter outside. These plants are weeds in Z10 gardens, though some are worse than others (I'm looking at you, K. delagoense and diagremontiana)....See Morekalanchoe ID
Comments (3)Looks like a hybrid that is part K. (Bryophyllum) tubiflora. You have a pot with several young plants. I expect one of those plants would grow bigger if it were in a pot by itself. Edit: tubiflora should be tubiflorum AKA delagoense...See MoreUser
