Yeah I planted those succulents before I knew anything about them. I've been working on reporting all of them into more suitable containers with a gritty mix.

I live in Washington state and it's really wet here so I'm nervous about putting my succulents outside. I did have them outside all summer though because we had a hot dry summer but I've moved them inside now that the rainy season is here.

There is a Christmas cactus behind it and some common succulent that I don't know the name of and 2 sedums and it the container with it is hen and chicks and a teeny tiny pinkish colored one that I also don't know the name of.

Ok i just googled semperivium and saw that thats what hen and chicks is lol. Im terrible with all the names. I don't know how people remember all of them.

Repot the String of Peals alone in a container with holes. I think the problem is lack of drainage, but it may also be fighting with that sempervivum for space and nutrients.

How much light does it get?

I will repot it today. And I think it was getting 4 or 5 hours of light outside. I just moved it inside and I have some lights I can put it under so I will do that also. Thanks

In your zone, plants could be outdoors for another month and probably longer. I am in much colder z5, and they are still outdoors. We are having unusually warm weather for another week or so, will see what happens after :) I bring them in when nighttime temps start staying constantly just below 50*F.

Even rain should not damage your plants IF potted in a gritty mix and a container with drainage holes...They could benefit from any direct sunshine and fresh air.

Pls, do that Sempervivum a favour and do not keep it indoors. It could be planted in ground or in container with gritty and should be overwintered outdoors.

Hi distantmermaid. I've found that my string of pearls (Senecio rowleyanus) needs watering more often than many of my other succulents. Mine looked healthy but wouldn't grow until I watered more.
