Blanco Silgranit sink owner here. Mine has been problem-free for 8 years. The easiest sink to clean I have ever had in my life. Looks great - like it's a month old, not 8 years old. I have the Super Single. As to the price, I remember I got mine during a sale, and the seller was offering added coupon discounts as well. It was about $350, and I don't find that too high for a sink. You must get it from a certified blanco seller or there could be trouble with it. I think whenever I read about trouble with a blanco sink it's cause the person did not buy from a certified seller so they didn't realize they bought a knock-off or a second or it was shipped crappy packing and that's the problem. I am moving into a new house soon, and will get another blanco sink. I have my eye on the new color they have called "coal black". Very cool.

Have had it in 2 houses ... love it. Never had problems with staining. We sealed it in both cases, but probably went 5 years inbetween coats of sealer with nary a problem. I've heard it's one of the denser granites and doesn't need sealing, so it's possible that we didn't really need to seal it, but seemed to take a coat of sealer with no problems.

What, you think Caesarstone doesn’t pay shills to direct people to its website under the guise of being a poster? Kate Barrington does it repeatedly, it’s spam.

Either my pictures aren't very good or the wisdom of the crowd isn't what I thought. The company agreed with me they are cutting a slab for the back wall that will run vertically like the other two slabs and placing it over the slab already installed on the wall. They are then cutting a one inch strip of marble and finishing it to cover the seam. They were very gracious and admitted the back wall was a mistake on their part.
