It almost looks like a Cararra marble, but I think it might be something like a Caesarstone material like that.

Thanks Rebekah...the only Caesarstone that I saw that resembles marble is misty carrera; but I think its too grey/taupe for my dark cabs...A light marble counter would look gorgeous but I'm hesitate on doing all marble...Should I just stick with my day one plan of plain white counters...or do plain white perimeters and a marble island? I spoke to a decorator and she said to go for the "all marble" but of course the marble place and my cabinet people frown upon it...I know they could be treated but will I regret every spill and tip-toeing around my kitchen? Another question...is it necessary to do stainless pulls (double in price) or can I achieve the same look with nickel?? Thanks for your continued patience with me!!!

I just did a kitchen remodel with a cambria counter top that looks exactly like this. Really nice stuff but a little pricey compared to granite.

Hairline, what type of Cambria did you use?
