Front porch - need some color suggestions or other ideas
Comments (3)Before you spend even a little bit of $$ on a small can of paint for the front door, figure out whether the house exterior (roof, siding, brickwork, shutters, gutters) need any work; and even if it doesn't, are you happy with the existing colors? Planters might work for now while you think about what you want to do long-term. Congratulations on your new house!...See MoreFront porch needs a face lift with paint
Comments (2)I would start by removing the shutters off the windows in the porch area. I would never paint a floor on aporch black it will show every footprint and all the dust. Wht not leave the floor as is if the paint is not in bad shape and get some outdoor rugs to brighten up the porch. I would get larger planters filled to overflowing with plants that love the shade. Since you have black shutters on the top floor I would do a black front door with a lot more glass in it and not that fancy design Then those planters could be black but with lots of red flowers . I do not know if you have room fro a swing you would need to measure the space you need . The chairs could have a nice fabric for cushions or the swing if it fits....See MoreHouse exterior makeover ideas needed .
Comments (12)The entire house would look better if it was clad in the same material on all four sides. It needs to be a different color also, the existing color does nothing for the house. I would get rid of both the overhangs over the front and side door and replace both of those doors with a contrasting color once you decide on the exterior. I would not do shutters or any type of stone. The back deck also needs a makeover. New outdoor lighting and landscaping would do wonders for this house....See MoreExterior face lift ideas?
Comments (0)We will not be changing the brown clad windows or shingles..need ideas on a new paint color for house/garage door/front door? And should we keep brick as is, or paint it another color? I think it looks fine, but would like a fresh new updated look!...See MoreReba.G
