Flexible Mirror for Roll-up Garage Door?

We are building a dance practice area in our garage. Shelves line that area, so we don't have any room for a mirror except for the garage door wall. Does anybody know of a way to hang mirrors on the inside of a garage door? I was thinking about some sort of flexible plastic mirrored sheeting that could be mounted, but apparently this is a niche product ;) and I can't find anything like that via Google Search. The garage door is a standard 5-panel single-wide door.

Why not mount mirrors on each panel of the door. You could probably find some inexpensive, frameless mirrors at the home center or cut to size at the local glass shop. While the resulting reflection probably won't be as "perfect" as continuously mirrored surface, it should be "good enough" for most purposes.

I think this might work, though we worry about mounting them to the vinyl garage door. I will call the local glass company tomorrow and see what they think.

The DIP switches for changing the code should be on the rear of the motor unit, beside the up/down force adjustments. It can also be that something else in your area is using the same radio frequency that your remote control does and is triggering your door. Most GDOs work on a government-preserved frequency, making them susceptable to interference, though your transmitter isn't powerful enough to interfere with their equipment.

We have appliance garages with doors that swing out. How wide will you garage be? It will only swing out the width of the door(s). We have one garage with a single door and two garages with split double doors. The other question is what will you use the garage for and will it be used daily? And also, what will the peninsula be used for? In other words, if you prefer the look of the swing open door, maybe it wouldn't be that inconvenient? I don't know the design of your kitchen. But in our large kitchen, this style door hasn't been a problem. Appliance garage to left of window holds meat slicer, which isn't used every day.

I think everyone's correct in that a glass garage door won't provide the insulation needed. We're building in Knoxville, and are putting a Clopay glass roll up garage door in our pool house. It'll be nice to open up during the summer to overlook the pool, and not a big deal in the winter when the pool house isn't in use. For our home, we're going with the multi-glass sliders to connect the living room to the back deck. Yes, it's a ton more expensive, but necessary to keep the home comfortable In all seasons.

I ended up just buying a 4x8 sheet of mirrored plexiglass, gluing it to a piece of plywood, and leaning it up against the garage door. It works alright except that I did not buy thick enough plywood, so the mirror has a bit of a bend in it. It serves the purpose of allowing my dancer to see foot placement, turn-out, etc... but it isn't what I'd envisioned. I hope that helps you!
