Comments (9)Thank you all for the very nice comments. NAT-4b- Thank you, and Yes SUSAN WEBER is a late bloomer. ALEXA,LINDA & MARG. Thank you for looking and the nice comment. RITA. Thank You, WONDER OF IT ALL has been a bloom machine for me. It has had 123 blooms this season, and deserves a rest period, even if I DO wish it would bloom year round.:))Its in a pot and fast filling this 14inch pot.I will probably need to find a bigger pot for it by this fall,as I intend to keep it in a pot with potting soil.Since it seems to love its home.It will just need a bigger home.:)I do have hundreds of pictures of it to look at this winter when we have nothing blooming. I have even saved a bunch of your pictures of your beauties, too, to look at during the winter. Jean...See MoreA couple of pics from the garden today......
Comments (14)Paul, They are beauties! Here are some from the past two weeks when my southwest hosta bed was in full bloom. I think that they look pretty good considering early emergence, late frost, hail (twice), and lots of bugs this summer. Gold Regal in bloom. L to R: Carnival, Jester, Golden Tiara, Emerald Tiara, Janet, another Golden Tiara, and Shade Fanfare. Turning the corner, same bed from another angle, with Shade Fanfare at center, and in the background (right) a big ventricosa, a fotunei Hyacinthina, and a couple of August Moons. Emerald Tiara in bloom Montana Macrophylla bloom. Golden Tiara blooms. Blue Cadet blooming. Jester blooms. The cardinal is keeping watch over this baby hosta bed with First Frost, Liberty, Deja Blu, and Captain Kirk peeking from behind the impatiens....See MoreA couple pictures to share today
Comments (4)May be some of the last with the flush of roses, but they're still beatiful. The daylillies are also, I really like the centers of these. I have a dark mauve that I could not get a good pic of no matter how many times I took a pic of it. Then I got the bright idea to go out early morn before the sun hits it. Perfect pic and it shows the color of the rose, exactly:) I just thought I'd share that with you especially on a rose the color of Fragrant Cloud. Which is a beautiful rose and you did get an excellent photo of too:) I'd never been able to get a true color shot before on these colors unless it was by accident....See MoreA couple of blooms from today
Comments (4)The trouble with lazy days here is that they usually happen when we get a rare "cool" front in the midst of the heat. I just want to sit on the porch and take it all in, not run myself ragged trying to catch up before the heat returns. Lazy girl I guess...........My favorite is Blackjack Cherry. What a nice deep rich color..................Now get back to work-lol.........Maryl...See MoreDelawareDonna Zone 7A
