That's hilarious. We had that modern sofa in the late 1950s. It had a built in vibrator. My grandfather and great grandfather were in the furniture business, so we had all the cool stuff.

OK so need help finding a not so modern sofa!

Styles including furniture and clothing has a history of what was once old is new again, usually every 30 years or so. This sofa, looks are just that, its not a sofa you can comfortably sit on everyday. As to keep those curves and tight edge requires a very firm fitting (almost rock hard) seat and back. A sofa with either a loose or semi-attached seat and back pillows will be very comfort as you can adjust the filling to be from very soft to very firm. Unlike this style their is no adjusting for this.
