It might be just natural aging of the gardens but in the day, I used 5-10-5 religiously but since I stopped, I feel that I am not doing enough.

With the 5-10-5, I fertilized and was done. Now I use a lot of grass clippings in the spring, tree chips in the summer, and shopped leaves in the fall yet still feel as if I should be doing more.

Is just the mulch enough to replace the chemicals? I still use holly-tone and other 'tones for individual plants
