Comments (21)Tom, some how or another, I missed yor comment. I usually see the tree frogs inside the bloom too but this one I happened upon and couldn't resist a pic.. Thanks Rita. i am not to worried about it since my season is winding down. After they finis, I will cut them down and spray them again. I sprayed with rosepride this time but I will get serious with a serious spray, later.. Ann, you should see BWW today. I may post another oic later. It's a fantastic flower.. Debra, it was contained in one bed which is far from the others.. I got it before it was really noticeable too since I am very well aquainted with that stuff. It was just breaking loose, so to speak. I didn't get it from Fl even though I had several order from there. Twas another culprit... Chris, she is beautiful, no doubt. yes, I think she was worth the wait but I must move her closer to the house so I can see her easier. I just have 3 small fans so I won't be able to trade her.. You know, i thought I got Orchid Corsage from you must it isn't on my list. I wonder if I got it from Numama...Hmmmm!!! Mona, I didn't know they stuck around that long. I do get attached to the "good" critters that I find on the dls. They add interest to some that aren't the least interesting.. njmomma, Hehehehe!! You really made me laugh. The tree frog is a cutie but I love the dls too!! Haha!!. Nancy, i knew he would and I am not sorry. I wish I had more of them and if I do, I wish I could see more of them.. Thanks Lrae, I think the rust is under control but for sure it will be when they stop blooming. I will give them a haircut, they won't soon forget...No name for the froggy yet except froggy..Seems a lot of folks NEED MRI.. I sure am glad I bought her a year or 2 ago.. Michelle, she looks good in your garden but I had some full dbl blooms on her too and didn't like them. Mine is muddy looking...I am not to much in love with mini and in this case, micro mini..Pugsley is another I don't like..BWW is a winner for sure. New to me this spring. Thanks to all of you for your comments...Ellie...See MoreFirst bloom of season award goes to....
Comments (9)Thanks so much you guys! I am obviously very excited since I've been watching you, my gardenweb friends, share your lovely blooms for the past couple of months! These Rainbow blooms didn't even last six hours! I am so glad I got some bud shots last night and the open bloom photos this morning because we had a mild rain storm around lunch time today and they were both droopy and petals down already! Whew! Blink once and you'll miss the Rainbow blooms, I guess! Can't wait to see what opens next over here! I have a Purple Tiger about to open up it's one and only bud!...See MoreFirst season blooming Bi-Color Irises
Comments (8)Thank you irisgal. I've always heard that a newly planted iris rhizome may not flower till the second year. I guess I lucked out having all my 2015 order bloom except for three this year. Not much bloom show as the clumps are so small only breaking one to two stems each but next year maybe much more flowers for a better presentation. Thanks for your visit and response Nancy. The brightness and color combinations seem to always get my attention....See Morechuckerfly
