I ordered my doors from CabinetNow. if you know a contractor, Decorative Specialties sells door as well. I used CabinetNow as the lead time to get the door was 5-7 business days and their selection almost looked identical to Decorative's selection. I measured multiple times to make sure i had everything set. i entered all on line. We got their Manhattan doors in paint grade maple. They have a solid feel. I also ordered the doors predrilled for euro hinges. i would use them again.

We have one from Masonite. I've been told that it's not a very good brand but we liked the look of the door. On their website, a single door transom was not an option but the store we bought it from had no problem getting it. The only issue I remember having was that we could only get clear glass I think.

More depths = more $$$ and more grooves for dirt and grime to accumulate = more hassle to keep clean = PITA after about 6 months = wishing you'd just gone simple in the first place Don't ask me how I know ;-)

@millworkman im new to this so learning as i go. i was offered Steves as an option… and you mentioned trustile. im looking for a two or three panel, flat panel shaker style door. ive grown up with solid wood doors so this is all new. one if my doors will need tonbe firesafe (door to garage).
