Help! my succulent is dying

Hello! I recently got a succulent from a local garden center a few days after bringing her home I noticed that the bottom leaves started pointing downwards and the top stayed upright and its

riginal position a few days later I've been noticed one of the lease starting to turn yellow it eventually got thin but still had some substance ( it was not completely dry or crispy) now there is another one! I'm getting so frustrated all of my other plants are doing great I'm just not sure what I could possibly be doing wrong. Thanks!

Your plant probably needs more light. Transition into at least morning light afternoon shade.

Possibly too wet and in a soil which holds too much water, probably needs a repot with a faster draining soil. Get commercial cactus/succulent mix and combine 50/50 with perlite or pumice and repot. This is a succulent--succulent means juicy--it hold water in leaves and stem, so if the soil is too wet, the plant rots. Cannot tell about the pot, probably clay or plastic with hole in the bottom, right? If you repot, don't use a bigger pot and don't pot your plant low.

I agree, I often find plants get watered too much while they are at a nursery. You can completely unpot it and just let it air dry for a few days, and then repot in a faster draining soil, as socks suggested.

I like the suggestion of adding more pumice/perlite. I've been finding recently that even the cactus/succulent soil mix I've been buying seems to hold an awful lot of water.

The stem could have just dried up. Or, it may have been rotting first and then dried up. Can't really tell. Soil it is in looks like peat, and could have been kept too wet or too dry. Not sure if you can save any of it. You could cut off those still green & live-looking pieces. Let them callus for just a while, then stick in a very well draining mix. Not peat. Many ppl use mix of coarse perlite and Cactus & Succulent soil in 50/50 ratio, maybe you should try that mix. I wonder about white area on one of the branches - circled in red:That may be just salt deposits, but could be mealy bugs too - I can't tell from your photo. See if it will wipe off easily, using paper towel or cotton ball. If bugs, you should wipe it off with something moistened with rubbing alcohol. Any pot used for plants should have drainage holes - can't tell if yours does or doesn't...

I think your plant is Graptosedum Bronze. I grow this plant and your’s looks normal to me. Mine grows long stems, looses leaves like this, and has the same markings on the leaves.

May not be dying but it isn't happy - and if left as is, it could eventually die. First: drainage - that is for potting mix and the container. I can't see mix clearly, but it needs to drain fast. I don't know if there is a drainage hole in the coffee mug, but it needs to be. Second: light. Your plant is too tall and leaning - probably toward source of light. It could be getting more that way since op of rosette seems to be quite compact, but it wasn't at some time - smaller and droopy leaves indicate that. Both of these could be help and I am sure they would help. Can you describe your growing conditions?

Don't propagate any of your plants yet (unless it is rotting...) but get them all into better growing conditions: they should be all repotted into better mix and given sunlight (gradually, or they will burn). Echeveria, could be 'Neon Breakers' on another ruffle-leaved one.
