Hi - for what it's worth here's what I did. (Caveat: I live in such a high cost of living area, that anything I put in will be ripped out by next owner, and this isn't my forever home. And my husband isn't careful with things so I didn't want to spend $$$ on high end. But I like high end look....) Anyway, we needed 2 vanities for our master reno. I wanted legs, not the type that go to the ground, and had to be 2 doors (but internal shelf or drawer(s)). I didn't want to wait or deal with the delay of custom. I wanted white which makes non-high end (but looks good) easier (vs. if you want to see the nice real wood). I liked the Kohler Jacquard, but the shaker style doesn't go with our bedroom (antique) curvy furniture. I found Cardell brand "Gelden" at big orange (HD) store. $400 each, free delivery to HD, and the guys put them right into my mini-van. They have solid wood doors and frame, and the rest is higher end plywood. No MDF. Made in the midwest to order, so takes 3 weeks (said 4 weeks but it was faster). Big orange also has a Foremost brand -I almost got the Ashburn (similarly wood doors, rest plywood but I think some MDF somewhere not sure), which was on sale for around $440 with black granite top! The Foremost brand vanities there have dozens of great reviews. HUGE perk of buying at HD: you can have it delivered to a store near you for free, inspect it there, and then say you don't like it and return it (check that it says "90 day returnable" when you shop online). Also, they will hold it for you for 30 days - you can wait to pick it up. And if it arrives damaged you don't have to shlep it there - you just return it (as you stand there) and re-order a new one. I went back to Kohler and noticed that theirs are built 95% the same - they aren't solid wood either (due to moisture issues). The Kohler with 2 pull out drawers and fixed shelf would have been about $1,300 each plus tax. So I saved about $960 each ($1,920 total)!I have them now and they are great. The edges in back are a tiny bit warped (while Kohlers wouldn't be) but once they are installed and granite countertops on it won't be seen. And b/c of the low price I don't mind my husband attaching towel bars etc to the sides. HTH!

Black quartz counter top with sliver flecks with white Cabinets and my white marble floors lookings amazing and classy... Black will not change color over the years like the white or cream color counter tops that easily get stained and change color within 2-3 years... In addition, it will hide burn marks and mistakes placing a hot object on the counter tops... I have seen 1 year old homes with a nice cream color counter with burn marks that totally ruins it... Also, I am not looking to hide dust or crumbs since I am clean freak so the black color is perfect fine with me... Also, my house is well lit...

Hi! If you have the option of using water resistant MDF that would be the option we would have you select. If thermofoil and "regular" MDF are the only two options you have, thermofoil in the long run will have better moisture resistance then the MDF. Both types of cabinetry do have their own pros and cons. Thermofoil will discolor over time and are harder to fix if there is any damage. MDF does not handle water well if it is not moisture resistant, it will degrade. Again if water resistant MDF is not an option, in the long run, we would take discoloration over cabinetry falling apart. Hope this helps! Detail Woodworking

Peke someone had posted up in the comment a picture of silver mixed with gold . I kinda liked it. I think we will leave the way it is for now. I think gold faucets look kind of a little to much bling . That may be an idea to paint frame on big picture but I am sure as soon as stores reopen she will be buying new decor. Lol that pic was not bought for that room. It was just something in storage from the past. Other pics were the same I do like them though frames are a natural wood. She may keep them but she may not. I hate that everything is closed especially Home Goods !
