Code Violation? Holes for Faucet Drilled too Close To Wall

Lori A. Sawaya

I had new quartz counter tops installed in both bathrooms. The holes for the faucets are VERY close to the wall. There is barely enough room to grasp the trap pull.

It's not functional from a use as well as a cleaning perspective, it looks"off" but beyond all that I'm also concerned there is some sort of building code to consider.

I also wanted to put a frame on the mirror. As it is, there is zero room for that.

There is about 1/4" between the trap pull rod and the back splash - barely a finger width for cleaning. I'd very much appreciate opinions and advice.
