Just curious thanks GG, especially in the context of being too cold to ship plants to where you are or not. Serious cold kicked in to NYC today, 30s, w/ windchill in 20s. I've been sick so stayed in today playing w/ plants, cleaning up lots of pots, quilting, & then OOPS!! My Bldg's alternate energy sources (generators) pooped out at 7:30 pm. Too early to sleep so I came all the way outside to find Internet to play. No more Hoyas for me 'til Spring I think -- Happy Holidays everybody!!

cyn427, thank you for the link and suggestions! I do like mercury glass and I bet they would be pretty reflected in the mirror. oakleyok, here is a photo of the area. It's at the end of my kitchen, but separated by a cased opening. I still haven't put anything on the buffet. We just finished up getting all the Christmas containers put back in storage and I'm too tired to pull out anything else tonight. I have two banquet lamps that I would love to put on the buffet, but I'm afraid they would be way too tall. I might try them tomorrow and see how they look.

I think I remember reading that about he tree farms, but the Brookhaven/Woodmode connection is not a secret. They even promote the fact that Brookhaven offers a lot of customizing options and just about anything you can think of can be done in Woodmode to match if needed.
