They are common spots of leaves of a plant that is going dormant and getting ready to shed its' leaves --OR-- a plant that has had minor stress, such as underwatering, a sudden increase in heat (heat wave), transitionsing from a greenhouse to the outdside world, etc. Nothing to worry about as long as you are taking good care of the plant.

A disease free fig tree, growing in full sun, with as much heat as you can give the fig (nowhere in PA is it too hot for a fig tree), quality fertile soil, excellent drainage, and plenty of water are all the ingredients for a successful harvest.
