Succulent In Bad Shape...Heat Stroke???

So, my husband brought his office succulent (which is a team project) home for the weekend to get some direct sunlight. (As you will see from the pictures, it is quite etiolated and needs a better light source). I said it should be fine if he left it in his car which was parked outside, since we only get indirect light on our patio. He took my advice but we didn't consider that temps here in South Florida have been in the 90s and this succulent was kept in an air-conditioned office for the last two months… The leaves have all gone droopy and the plant in general has begun a rapid decline… It was due for its weekly watering and the leaves had begun to wrinkle, so I soaked it and let it drain, but it has not perked up as my own succulents would've done… Has it been fatally damaged???
