Need help getting rid of this vine/weed!

This creeping vine/weed (I have no idea what it is) is taking over my yard. It is killing my grass and crawls across my sidewalk up the side of my garage. Please tell me what it is and how to get rid of it. It is coming from my neighbors yard. I've tried pulling it but I'm afraid its just reseeding when I do that.

The one with the darker green leaves on the vine. I took a picture of some I pulled. Any help on the others would also be appreciated. I'm not really knowledgeable on lawn care. I've done the weed and feed but It doesn't help with the vines.

Many people have luck with a thick layer of newspapers under the mulch. I have done that with success. Yes, you dig down through the mulch and papers to plant. I find that it is easier to do that rather than add the mulch around the plants afterwards.

Use the services of the Texas A & M Cooperative Extension Service to properly identify what you have and then the how to control it can be better explored. But you could also cut the stems at ground level, repeating as necessary to keep any green growth from appearing and eventually the roots will die.

Definitely not Garlic Mustard, it does not spread vegetatively (thank goodness, it's bad enough as it is!!). Definitely not Wild Ginger, at least not the native one. Unfortunately, I don't know what it actually is! Reminds me of some Campanula I saw in another thread, at least that's the best ID they came up with (on Name That Plant). Doesn't it ever flower? Thanks for everyone's input. I think I've come to the conclusion that I'll probably never get rid of this weed because our yard is too big to be pulling all of them out, and we don't mow here until after they've already done to seed in the spring (like about now). Well, I'll strive to keep them pulled out of my flower gardens because I at least don't want them taking over there. Probably five years ago I never even noticed this weed here, and now wham, it's taking over. I only have a few weeds here that are so aggressive. I'd actually say that this one is probably at the top of the list. If it weren't for weeds, I could spend less time in the garden and more time with hubby. I really do spend a LOT of time outside!

That is Hedera helix, Ivy. It isn't reseeding, its spreading by running. It will only produce seed when it reaches the top of its support. At that stage the leaf shape changes, it stops producing aerial rootlets and starts producing flowers and berries.

I've never seen any flowers or berries coming from it. Is there a way to get rid of it. I think the source is somewhere in my neighbors yard but it's impossible to follow because when you pull it, it's like a maze (it goes in many different directions and really attaches to the area it covers).

You won't have seen flowers while it is on the ground. It will only flower when it climbs to the top of its support, whether that be tree, fence, shed or whatever.

To get rid of it you'll just have to pull and dig. It is tricky to deal with via herbicides because it has a waxy cuticle on the foliage. Bashing and damaging the foliage before application can help. There's lots of info on the web.

Your top photo also shows another creeping vine, Glechoma hederacea. Note the hederacea part of its name which describes its similarity to Hedera. It too is a problem weed for many people in the US.
