Can I rescue dried oil stain in can?

Two years or so ago, I stained my new deck with Benjamin Moore Arborcoat Premium Exterior Stain Classic Oil Finish (Semi-Transparent):

I liked this stain.

However, one of my deck slats developed a crack which I fixed by applying Bondo and sanding it down so that it was flush with the wood.

But I now have to re-stain a part of this slat which is a relatively small area. Since I still had some stain left, I opened the one-gallon can. To my surprise, the stain had dried up. I poured some mineral spirit but this did not soften it.

Does this mean that there's nothing I can do with the can and will simply have to buy a new quart? Or is there something I can do to make use of the dried stain? I just need a little.
