Comments (3)Oops, Sorry! My email address above is wrong! see below. We have all four people and are actually mailing our swaps now. I did receive an email from one other person who is very interested. So if you are interested email me and I will distribute the names to each other. Growflroses@yahoo.com Also you don't have to split to buy from this wholesale (type) company. The assortment we have in this swap turned out to be amazing and it was fun learning about seeds I never considered before. Countrycaroline, we actually have a person from 7a. Comments (6)Dragon, I used to keep my photos in binders but ran out of room and $$ to print them all. I do as hostabuff; I have an Excel spreadsheet with lots of details including what bed it is in (I have several beds and 242 varieties of hosta). I have a separate map of each of my hosta beds and markers on every one of my hostas (except for the ones that were here when I moved here and don't yet know the variety). I periodically print them out as I update them (spreadsheet & maps) and actually do keep that in a binder....just in case... On the computer, under "My Pictures", I have a separate Hosta Photos folder. Each variety gets its own folder for pictures. When I name the photo, it gets named like this: Variety - date photo taken For example, Allegan Fog - June 5 2007 Of course with over 240 varieties, I did have to break the varieties up by making folders for A-D, E-H, etc. So my Allegan Fog folder would be in the A-D folder. Might seem like a lot of work, but if I want to compare photos of the same plant from one year to the next, it's very easy to find and do. I also put a shortcut to my hosta photos right on the desktop. One caution...if you put everything on the computer, it is IMPERATIVE that you back them up monthly. After my computer crashed, I went out and bought an external backup drive. I was really lucky and able to get my old pc back just long enough to backup my files. It (old pc) survived until I got a new computer a month later. Now, I back up my data to the backup drive every month. You could also copy them to a CD. With a total count of 370 hostas, I have to keep organized. Char...See MoreOne more request for mailbox and wall sconce color, please
