Do they not make a short end bullnose as well? Some brands do. Or you could use a Shluter edge.

Even if they did make a short end bullnose it doesn't solve it. These tiles have a slightly curved edge, and at least 2 or 3 tiles on the end will need to be cut. The cut edge has to be on the outside (not within the tile field). I am not sure if I can find a schluter edge that will match. I am going to the tile store tonight to look.

Hi Jill was hoping someone would chime in with a good suggestion. I agree with you I don't think it will look right to have one or how ever many you need there running vertical there as it will kind of frame it out. but I like your idea of making a pencil edge or wonder if just a sanding down of those edges if possible?? If you have extra tiles it my be worth the risk to try. Your kitchen is looking so nice! Bet your getting so excited :)

The cut gets placed on the inside edge of the tile in the field not where you are stopping it, and /or the tile layout gets planned to avoid cuts or slivers at this end. Without seeing the other end of this run of tile I can't say. But the cut edge does Not have to be on the outside, and with a bullnose end of brick pattern, unless they make a half-width tile (5x5 for a 5x10 pattern), there Has to be a cut on the inside edge to lay it brick style

In this layout, because the other corner needed to be full tiles the bullnose were cut on their inner edge here rather than all cuts buried in the corner.

Pal I think she means the bullnose is only on the 10" side or am I misunderstanding you sugggestion ? I assumed all tiles like this would come with a bullnose on the long side for the top and bullnose on the short side for outside and corners no?

That's what Jill Coopersmith has on hand. I asked if they make one on the short side because some tile lines do.

If you have to use the bullnose vertically I suppose one way to do it would be to do tile vertically at the end of each run of tile on each wall. At least this would create a vertical line in other places.

Hey did you ever get your lights in? Was curious what you did with undercabinet lights? My guys said the always use the led strip lights now but I'm not sure I want a strip of light dots reflecting on counter?

Thanks Wilson, I looked at Schluters, but I didn't think it would look right to introduce another surface/texture/color just in that one area.

Mawizz - My lights are partially in, but not fully hooked up yet. I went with recessed puck lights and finished bottoms under my wall cabinets. I did go with strip lights inside the glass cabs because I wanted wood shelves on the interior. But like you, I didn't want the small dots of light reflecting on the countertop. I don't have any pictures to show, but I will take some tomorrow and show you what they look like.

Thanks Jill I had pucks in my last house and liked them very much. My current cabinets don't have that recessed area like my last ones and I'm going with a very small light rail so not sure if they would work? I'll check em out maybe they are more low profile now? That would be great if you could post pics thx :)

Jill--Why not run the bullnose pieces along the top and down the side and miter the outside corner, kind of like this:
