GE Monogram Dual Fuel Range smell??

We bought a new GE Monogram Dual Fuel Range and just completed our remodel. When we went to use heat it for the first time as instructions state it had a very off bad smell. When I opened the door it appeared that the installers forgot to remove a small (like pencil size) piece of foam and a little had melted. I cleaned it all out hoping that was the issue. Since then we have ran the oven 3 times to make sure the smell goes away or "burns in" the oven before using it. It has gotten a little better, but is still there. I describe the smell as how a hot glue gun smells. I am going to call GE to send someone out, but I am wondering if anyone has one what their experience has been with smell when brand new?

We have GE Monogram Duel Fuel Range.

Thanks!
