My vote is for clear!

Frosted. I would want them to match the drawers.

My immediate thought was also about smudges and fingerprints. Frosted would be my choice.

I agree with the frosted, for the reasons stated above. I sort of prefer the clear look, but not enough to choose it.

Wow I was tired. I thought I put clear in title. I have no idea where the white came from.

That's a good point that y'all bring up about fingerprint. I'll check it tomorrow and see if it smudges.

I vote for clear. I would like frosted if your cabinets were a different color.

Beachem, what was your magic to move from polished to brushed? And to frost them?

@mobuddy $1 Brillo pad. I looked at the directions that the nickel was brushed in and just lightly ran the pad in that direction until the look was identical. I worked on it in bed while watching TV.

I used Rustoleum frosted glass spray. I just did one light spray at a time, wait to dry, then spray again until the frost level match the original.

In the blind test, hubby could not pick out which one was which.

Is that glass spray going to stay on with daily use?

Beachem, I also used glass spray on an item once and it did come off with repeated use. Now, the item was actually glass and not a crystal, polyester or resin product. That might make a difference. You might want to test oily or watery hands just in case you are working and don't have a chance to wash/dry them before grabbing the pull. They both look beautiful so it is a difficult decision but if one wears better, that might sway you too.

I used the glass spray on the 3" which is on top of the two tall skinny cabs. I had one frosted and one glass so I had to match them. These will be rarely used.

I'm still trying to figure out how to assign the pulls aesthetically so I can avoid spraying the 8" pulls. I have 9 frosted and 13 clear. I bought 11 last night at full price and ouch they were expensive.

I have to admit the matt brass finish was so lovely in person.

@nosoccermom and Mobuddy. The pulls are real glass so I'm not sure how the spray will fare.

You could try roughing them up a bit. If some of it comes off after a while, you can always wash the pull with warm soapy water and the rest will wash off and you will be left with the clear. However, roughing it up would not be such a good thing then. You would then be stuck in a cycle of taking off and spraying.

I like the clear - the frosted disappears.

I love the clear glass. Want to do something like that in my kitchen. Maybe I'll mix them with crystal knobs on the top cabinets.

I like the clear and they go nice with your other glass knobs.

Start clear - you can always go to frosted if they annoy you - not so much the other way around. ;-)
