Comments (25)Hello Lance, Here is one pic of the rendering. Yes, it is out of the box when it comes to the layout. This is what you see in the rendering: One sectional couch like yours On glass round coffee table two glass side tables. One couch table on the left side your desk on the right side to create a small open office area Two wall shelves good for your books or work related material and decorative A corner TV console in place of the one you have and of course a TV One thin & tall book shelf on the wall to the left of the stairs. Two floor lamps; One in the corner behind your desk and desk chair and one in the corner where the sectional meets the wall. One large basket to hold extra blankets and pillows One square area rug 4 counter height stools for the island One large panoramic picture art Why did I put the couch this way? To make room for a small office area, to have open access to the seating area and so that you have a view out of the glass doors and of your TV. Yes, I can rearrange this easily if you would like me to try to put together another configuration for you. Also; is there a chance that you can put your desk in another room? Probably not but it never hurts to ask. Hope this helps. Best Wishes, MAE...See MoreNew apartment being build need ideas
Comments (26)@Debbi Washburn A larger bathroom can always be a good thing. It doesn't have to be huge though if it compromises something else. Does that mean you agree with me changing it ? I like the idea of the floor tile looking like wood and am not opposed to it going on the wall . However, once it is on there, you can really mount anything there or easily change what is already mounted. Is there any sort of specialty wood species in your area that might go nice on the feature wall and do something different on the floor? To be honest the walls that have a TV wont have anything else. So not worrying about mounting anything Not a fan of gray. But that is just me. I find it dreary. You will need to find something that compliments the flooring you want to use. Personally I think clutter and overdoing elements is what makes a space look small. OK understood since you are not a fan of gray do you have anything specific to suggest so I can go ahead and try it on the 3D plan ? For lighting, I like layers - recessed, pendants, undercabinet, Floor/table lamps and sconces. And make sure the main lights are on dimmers. Regarding dimmers I had that in mind too. For the cooking area - that is an open space - I would absolutely want a fan that vents outside. I don't know that you have to do a false ceiling - maybe you can create an architectural element to cover the vent pipe. Any ideas on the architectural element ? Thanks for your help...See MoreRelated Professionals
