Pink Hydrangea Flowers Losing Color Fast After Bloom & Turning Yellow

About 2 months ago we planted 3 Pink Hydrangea "Mathilda Gutges" infront of my house and mulched around them. All was well for about a month but then I noticed that all the pink flowers were losing their color and slowly turning to a yellowish color and would stay there. When new flowers bloom they are pink for a relatively short while and then too lose their color. Why is this? And how can I stop it ? The plants otherwise are fine, and still growing great.
