Pics of some blooms this week
Comments (18)I know the single flower form holds up for my friend, in Orlando, through the summer. I have a plantlet of it as well. So maybe I'll be able to compare the two. It appears I will have tons of seeds for the double form, so I will most definitely share. Tom, it is lavender. Can't remember what kind. I bought 3 different kinds and lost 2 of them. I bought them at a USF sale. Oh good. I'm glad it wasn't just me killing butterfly bushes. I have figured out that they like tons of water. I've also noted that I never see a butterfly on the white one! My purple one is not blooming yet and I have that one in a pot as it is floppy....See MoreSome blooms from the past week
Comments (13)Thanks everyone for the compliments! Daylily season is coming to a close in my garden, which makes me sad but also eager for next year to come. Only about half of the dl's I got this year bloomed, and I'm sure I'll order more over the winter whilst I sit here bored and need to spend money on some more plants...lol! So that only means more pictures to come next year. Looking forward to 2009 already! Karen...See MoreSome blooms from this week
Comments (7)I just love your striped roses. They're both so different and so lovely. Fragrant Plum looks great - there's so many flowers!! I really like Golden Jubilee and Masquerade!!! Okay what is it about Stainless Steel? :) Everytime I see a picture of it - it looks like it's been taken in the late evening. Does everyone wait til evening to take the picture - or is it just how the rose looks? That intrigues me. Love your roses!! Thanks! Comments (6)Yes Jasmine MM is a mini rose. Some people on the Forum believe that it's actually ABRACADABRA. But even tho ABRACADABRA is a small rose, I don't believe they are the same. My Japanese maples don't usually put out this much color. It's been a really different kind of fall here this yr. Much more colorful than most other yrs that I can remember. And they started turning color later in the season too. My neighbor's big pistachio tree just last week started to turn yellow. It's several weeks later than normal. And my young pistachio tree never got really colorful until this yr. I'm really enjoying the colors all around town....See More- 6 years agobethnorcal9 thanked HalloBlondie (zone5a) Ontario, Canada
