Question about organic control for mites and powdery mildew

Hello all, is it possible, or has anyone had luck with controlling spider mites with regular water spray while also controlling for PM with milk/water spray? I used milk/water for the first time last week and I found it pretty effective for PM on cucurbits, less effective on Monarda, and I think pretty effective on my roses. I also have a bad spider mite problem that stems from planting a rugosa rose right in front of some euonymus that had these weird webs in it at the time. . . I know better now! I also water sprayed the roses and got rid of the webs a few days in a row prior to my milk experiment, and I really did notice a difference in the amount of mites.

So knowing what works, can I somehow combine them? Can I spray down my roses with the milk/water spray at high speed to knock off the mites and to kill the PM? Or do I need to do these separate? Won't I just wash off the milk if I do that?
