Is 17' x 14' (interior dimension) undermount sink a good size?
Comments (1)We just had four of the Toto undermount sinks with interior dimensions of 17" x 14" installed in our new build this weekend. The plumbing hasn't been completed, so they haven't been used, but they are a nice size. We put them in the kids bathrooms and two in the master bath. As for the protrusion of the faucets, that I can't answer. The faucet has to sit back behind the sink flange, and the counter fabricators will leave plenty of room to make sure the faucet plumbing to also clear the flange. I was worried about the same thing. Today, I stuck the faucet in the drilled holes and pretended to wash my face. It seemed to be fine. I hope this helps!...See MoreInstalling undermount cast iron sink advice

Comments (1)Just be sure it's the right size and 16 or 18 gauge stainless steel. When you get up to 20 and above, it starts to make "clanking" sounds. I've had an 18-gauge Franke Orca and a 16-gauge Kraus and neither one was "tinny"....See MoreGranite Hole Placement/ Unable to Install Undermount Air Switch Nut
Comments (15)Yup. You are right Joseph Corlett--doesn't sound great. I don't know how people remodel more than 1 kitchen in a lifetime. And I don't know how you can deal daily with fixing so many botched counter / sink installs. My hat is off to you! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with GW. People like me really need and value your advice. This reno started out with optimism and energy to make the temporary kitchen an "adventure" and decisions are just opportunities. It's all wearing thin now with the little things that crop up (and the not so little things like counter problems). And I know I do not have it bad at all. Tomorrow will be a fresh day with fresh energy to deal with it. Thanks again Treb!...See MoreJulia_WI Zone 5b
