Area rugs and Throw pillows

Looking for and Entryway rug that will work well with the Ivory living room one. would also like to update the Throw pillows. The ones you see are from a time that this couch was used in a playroom. Ideas?

Living room walls are a light beige (not sure of the color) Entryway is painted in SW Repose grey and red oak floors are stained in Duraseal Coffee Brown

Thanks! I really like both the rug options you suggested. I like the pillows as well, though I would like to bring in an accent color or two with the pillows. If I can find some that look good

I would hold off on the throw pillows and select the rugs first. They are a large part of the room and it's easier to match a a paint color to it.

Be careful when choosing pillows with lighter and brighter colors they start to look like outdoor pillows especially small stripes..try to add large prints with different combination of textures with your dark wood floors and very warm wall color go for richer tones..you will love the results.

trying to select a new area rug and throw pillows for family room. the room is approximately 12x20. The chairs have recently been reupholstered and ha a reptile texture. My decor style and accessories are eclectic along with English Fox hunt artwork in and near the family room. yhe windows need something (I have discarded the previous)would like a rug with black background. Does that work? can I incorporate any animal print? suggestions appreciated

On a couch as large as yours, you really need oversized pillows to make an impact and not too many of them.

Good call yayagal! And those artwork pillows are nice havingfun what size are they? Also where are the first two rugs you showed sold and what sizes do they come in?

ok, my lovely modern art pillows have now decided to disappear. i disagree on the size. saw a couch with different sizes in each corner, all blue, gorgeous! i will look for more. and i don't remember about the rugs, once gone,gone. you can look in my ideabook.

actually not sure i had any other rugs. i have to go think about the pillows, not feeling them right now.
