HI I had Prime Waterproof Dark Roast installed in my kitchen and back of the house, I hate it, I cannot get this floor looking clean. It smudges and never look clean. Has anyone else had problems with this floor. I have tried Bono and Rejuvinate cleaner for LVP floors, but left them looking hazy. My floor is Matt finish. Which seems to show every foot print and sock print. Im going crazy trying to find the best cleaning for this floor. Could it be my mop? I use a microfiber mop. Does anyone else use something else? Suggestions are appriciated.

We recently had a flooring consultation/measurement meeting with a mom-and-pop flooring shop, and they did *not* recommend LVT/LVP for our home. Now, we want a dark floor (so if you want a medium or light floor, this may make a difference; I don't know), and we are a half-a-dozen-kids and large-dog kind of family living in 2k square feet (so everywhere is "high traffic"). The guy said that LVT really *isn't* "kid-proof" and "pet-proof"... What the manufacturer (COREtec) really means is "waterproof". He has seen large dogs scratch up a dark LVT floor in short order, and assured me that it would bother me something awful to see the damage, especially when the sunlight hit it. And he's right, lol. Have you gotten quotes for hardwood vs vinyl? The difference may not be as much as you think. I will say, though, that the only reason I'm still *maybe* considering LVP is because damaged boards can be replaced easily on a floating floor (the guy said he only installs floating LVP, no glue-downs at all). Even then, I might get a lighter/more busy floor (like hickory) to somewhat camouflage the inevitable damage. Regardless, buying lots of extra boxes probably isn't a bad idea. :-D

The white marble looking one? I did not like the white marble one from Supercore at all. I looked at the charcoal one called either Steel or Carbon. It wasn't bad. I found a tile guy today who will come look and give me an estimate. Hopefully since he is from Tulsa, he knows what he is doing. Funny that he mentioned that there are no standards being followed in Oklahoma and no license needed. I already knew that! He said he was licensed, but if Oklahoma does not enforce licenses, how did he get one? Maybe he has a license from another state. Benefit of the doubt until I hear him say something I know is wrong.

Below are some of the Medieval Floors Nouvelle Collection Sand Dune engineering hardwood floors that I got from my installer. It's basically a nice natural wood color. The light does make a big different in the house though so you have to get a box to make sure. He said this is from a beautiful 6,000+ square feet home in Southern California and the customer stayed home to watch her installer installing the floors as she wants everything perfect. I would too if my house is THAT big and spending so much money already.
