So pot is okay!? And can i use like little stones for decoration? I found red/pink stones but they look dyed so im scared it will damage plants

Did you buy the plants yet? If so, take a pic so the people here can tell you if they have similar needs.

Be sure to use a fast draining soil as recommended on this forum. It would also be good to know if you plan to keep the planter inside or outside.

If the paint does not wash off the stones they are probably OK especially if you bought them in a garden store or nursery. Personally I don't like to cover the top of the soil with too much with decorative rock because I think rocks slow the soil from drying out. Lots of people do it and it looks very nice. Just my opinion, if you're concerned about that just use them sparingly.

'Cactus soil' is usually not as well draining as advertised. Ppl that use it, mix minimum 50% or more of sifted perlite in it to improve drainage. Bigger the container, more water retaining soil = wet soil for too long. If roots of your succulents stay in wet soil for too long, they can't breathe properly and may start rotting and/or dying. If you use well draining mix, topdressing may not be a problem (I use it for all my plants and do not have any problems). Perhaps the climate makes some difference too - in hot & humid climate, maybe it isn't best - I do not know where you live...

You can use any container with any amount of soil, just make sure it drains well and fast.

In community pots, t is best to pot up plants with similar light and watering needs, so yes - show plants you have.

You can also use small pots and put them all in that container or similar.

Putting small pots is clever. But it would be hard to find pots fits in that container. I will still think about this solution.

Could you please edit all of your photo posts and number the plants? - it is much easier to refer to them that way... and it would really help to give better advice if you indicate either your general location or growing zone, or both. See as most members here do, next to your name...

You could use that container - but as pointed out many times before, only if you use grainy, well draining mix. If you fill it with a mixture of mostly grit and perlite (or pumice if available), it will drain well. If you use water retaining soil, even small pot will have problems.

Stones under any plant will not help...I believe you have been reading this forum for a while, and just about every post is full of recommendations for well draining mix. And no rocks at the bottom.

Everyone here wants to help, and there are few different ways to get that well draining mix, and they have been suggested. And all pots need drainage holes. And plants should be potted higher up in the pots, not so deep as Sempervivums in photo before the last (it would be much clearer if it could be referred by # - that's why I suggest numbering photos).

Please consider these hints & tips and make it easier for us to help...

I searched but i couldn't find grit or pumice :( but i have potting soil and perlite.

Perlite works fine, but rinse it through a strainer (outside preferably, you don't want perlite dust going down the drain). Rinse it before combining with the potting mix. Don't be shy about putting in at least half perlite. Some people just sift perlite, but I like to rinse it because I don't like to breathe the dust.

If all the cactus pots have holes, the cactus plants should be left in those pots with your new fast draining mix. They also need to be potted up higher in the pots. The sides of the pots will shade the plants too much as they are now. #15 looks a little "funny" in color. Can you tell if they are mushy without getting injured?

Also, 11-14 might be hard to identify because they look very small. Any chance of another photo, maybe in better light?

Others here who know a lot, like Rina, can make recommendations as to what will work well in your planter.

PS Do you have a sunny window inside?

The original response neglected to mention yes, you can put them together if they have the same care needs. These don't, perhaps not everyone knows that. If they have different water & light needs from each other, they won't do well together in a shared pot.

Examples: #9 is a Haworthia, which wants partial shade (will burn in direct sun). #10 is an Aloe which wants as much direct sun as it can get (exposed gradually so it doesn't burn).

I think #6 is a Peperomia, maybe dolabriformis, not sure what it needs, but not direct sun.

I'd consider inserting a box upside down inside the window box & then set the individual pots on top, placed so you only see the plant, not the pot.

I do have sunny window. But to be honest im not sure if its enough sub for my plants.

15 have weird color. Yes i notice it too actually. My friend gave it to me and said his plant looks weird too and changes color sometimes. I couldn't get if its mushy or not because when i gently squuzs it i only feel the spines

Maybe i can do like separate all my plants and put them in a balcony pot with each ones own pot to keep them organized and water them all properly

I can put Styrofoam and make them stand high

And i can add colorful stones between each pot so my decoration problem will be solved without damaging plants! Plus pots wont move quickly this way!

I do have garden but its very little and have like 4 cherry tree. So its very shady and outside is bit cold at night

That is not cold...They will be fine in temps lower than that; I usually bring them inside when overnight temps stay constantly below 10*C (hopefully not before November :) Couple of nights ago temps here dropped to 9*C, daytimes are in mostly in mid- to high- twenties. Shade/lack of light would be bigger problem. But if you get 4-6 hrs of sunlight, it would be great.

Your Sempervivum (#11-14) would grow much better outdoors. They are Alpine plants, and very hardy. You could keep them in containers or in ground. They will be better off if they spend winter outside. If you keep them in pots, pls. add more soil - right now, they are very deep inside of pots.
