Jackie... I'd love to take credit for being able to ID your rose, but all I did was use the ADVANCED SEARCH feature on HMF. Premium members are allow to use more than one search criteria. For CLASS, I selected "hyrbid tea" For COLOR, I selected "light pink with darker reverse" The results showed 7 roses. I chose 'Duet' because of the 1960 introduction date. HTs appear to be the stars in my rose garden up here. I inherited several when I bought my house. I thought I was going to have to give them a lot of TLC, but it's turned out that they have little disease problems here and they can stand up to the high temps of summer. I like them best when they are fully open. 'Duet' is on my WANT list, but I am not sure how it will perform own root. That's the only thing holding me back from adding 'Duet' to my garden. These roses were actually sold by a small sidewalk vendor who bought them from a friend who bought them from a florist who bought them from one of the cut flower farmers somewhere in Baguio City, Philippines. As you can see, the vendor herself or her friend or the florist or the contract farmers don't have any idea. She just calls them big 'pink'roses and big 'white' roses. I would really appreciate an ID from others even just a guess as I like to know the names of the roses I buy. I buy these same roses for my vases 1 to 2 times a week so I would really like to know what their names are, having lived with them for years. tropical

Nanito, can you give us any more information about it? You said it was old. Do you know how old it might be? Pink roses are the hardest ones to ID because there are so many of them.
