Lucky for me, I don't drink coffee!

However, I eat a small bowl of strawberries and whipped cream as a before bed snack most nights.

Mmm, coffee and whipped cream! Oldest son loves coffee and vanilla ice cream, that's really yummy in the summer. Alas, hub and I are on diets, so no whipped cream nor ice cream, grrr.

I love this too. A little Reddi-Whip works perfectly. A couple cans don't take up much room in the fridge. I'm just sayin'..........

Whipped cream is what makes Irish Coffee so good. That and the Irish Whiskey.

Now that you tried that, stir in about 1/4 tsp vanilla. It takes it up a notch.

On the very rare occasions that I get Starbucks they put whipped cream on top. If I think about it I ask for without I am not a huge fan of whipped cream.

I sometimes use unwhipped heavy cream in my coffee. We will used whipped cream in our coffee during the holidays with the left over wc from dessert. It is delish!

Sounds really good. I use CoffeeMate Italian Sweet Cream in my coffee. Junk, I know, but I only use one tablespoon. I use their sweet cream bliss, which is a natural product for tea.

As Texas_Gem mentioned, only 15 calories in a serving which amounts to two tablespoons. And, for the low carbers, only 1 gram of carbs!

Makes for a guilt free treat as long as one doesn't have a gigantic serving.

mama, since you're used to the powdered stuff, you will probably think that whipping cream (not whipped) or half and half, unsweetened, is a huge treat. Sweeten it or not, your preference.

I use a couple of tablespoons or less of the latter and it makes a creamy cup of coffee.

Well, you are half way to Irish coffee, so go all the way--stir a little sugar, the whipped cream, and Irish whiskey into a cup of coffee. Yum. I love it, but I can't take the caffeine later in the day (even decaf) and whiskey at breakfast just is not a good way to begin the day.

Try it with carmel flavored whipped cream. Macchiato! Starbucks is making a killing on those!

Not sure about the irish whiskey though lol maybe I can find a tiny bottle like what's sold on airplanes, but on second thought I better not.. heaven forbid I like it and turn myself into a souse...haha. I do have a tendency to over indulge on new things that I really really like. I've always wanted to try hot buttered rum, but I'm afraid it will taste like a rum flavored lifesaver than I'd really have problems. Does it taste like a rum lifesaver anyone know?

It is similar to the life saver but SO much better!

Whipped cream on chocolate pie: That's heaven. Its good on strawberry pie or pecan pie as well. Be still my fluttering heart. My diet can not tolerate this stuff, but my memory of it is yet good.

Starbucks uses very highly sweetened whipped cream, and reddi -whip is also too sweet for me. Prefer to make my own... When I make it.

I have a whipping cream dispenser. I put one cup of whipping cream in it, along with 1 tsp of Splenda (we don't do 'real" sugar) and 1 tsp of instant espresso. Close the lid, attach the CO2 cartridge shake it up and put that on my coffee, every single day when I come home from work. YUM!

Also, I've watched Starbucks pour fresh cream from the closed carton into a freshly cleaned whipping cream dispenser and there is NO sugar in their whipped cream.

I never put sugar in my whipped cream, a little vanilla yes, but never sugar.It would normally be going on something that already has sugar in it.

If I'm making whipped cream for something I always make extra so that there is enough leftover that I I can have it in my coffee for a couple of days.

The Hot Buttered Rum: If you wait until you have a cold this winter you may not be able to taste it properly. You know how a cold affects your sense of taste. It could be made improperly and you wouldn't even know it. We can't have that! I think the minute you feel the first cool breeze this fall you should make just a little test batch and sip it. Maybe a few little cups. Try out a few recipes and make sure it is exactly to your liking. Maybe a little nap afterwards to contemplate it's deliciousness.

I drink "bullet proof" style coffee every work day. It holds me without other food until almost lunch time. A strong cup of coffee blended with butter, whipping cream, and coconut oil. It gets foamy like a latte, and it's the only way I can drink coffee without even a little bit of sweetening. I also like unsweetened lattes made with whole milk and a little whipped cream on top, then a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Starbucks has never used sugar in their whipped cream. And they are not supposed to automatically put it in anyone's coffee unless its requested.

Ya I make my own whipped cream usually, but ReddiWhip is not bad, I enjoy it even though it only takes minutes to whip up some heavy cream. I will probably be making some soon since I may make a Hersheys Chocolate cake. I like Whipped cream on it instead of frosting..a little bit of gelatin in the whipped cream helps keep it fluffy for on a cake. All this talk is making me crave mounds of lusciousness..BRB coffee break

Your comment reminded me of Thanksgiving desserts with pumpkin pie and real whipped cream. I'd pour a cup of coffee and add a dollop of whipped cream. Delicious and decadent.

Dances, I drink a "bullet proof" coffee every day that I work. I make my oils ahead of time. I'll either take one out and plop it in my travel mug the night before (I usually forget....), or take one and melt it in the microwave before putting it in my coffee.

I've heard of coffee with butter and coconut oil or just coconut oil. Have to say I tried it a few y ears ago and truely gagged..I suppose its a matter of developing a taste for it.

mamapinky0, if you don't put it in a blender or do as I said in my video above (put it in a travel mug and shake the living beegeebies out of it), the oils float to the top. You have to make sure it's very well blended. There's really no difference between putting cream in your coffee or butter. Butter is made from cream. :) The trick here though is, to use good grass fed butter. And the Kerrygold makes all the difference in the flavour. This coming from a person who HATES butter, but hasn't had any margarine in 3 1/2 years.

I buy Kerry butter for toast and things that really need great butter and Land oh Lakes for everything else. I LOVE butter lol. Thing is though butter has a different mouth feel than cream. I'll try it again next time I have my blender out.

My newest after dinner coffee that is absolute heaven..coffee same as above with my powdered creamer and 2 T of whipped cream stirred in..a small squirt of whipped cream on top and a sprinkle of cinnamon..I call it dessert. Lol

Mamapinky I think I will try that. I've been drinking coffee black for most of my life, for some reason I decided to buy powdered creamer recently. It is perfectly adequate, but whipped cream and cinnamon in addition would certainly make it special.

Lucille, it really is very good. I always have coffee in the morning with only unflavored powder creamer, never sugar, I'm not a fan of any sweet in coffee unless its iced coffee. But I enjoy this with the whipped cream and cinnamon, I should probably mention a few time I grabbed the cinnamon sugar mix. Lo.
