Hi Twilkins72 - note that every store is going to have different pricing so my 40% off is likely going to based off a different starting point. From what I've seen, most furniture dealers mark up initially by 100%+ their cost and will negotiate down. They obviously need to pay the bills too, so it will vary from dealer to dealer what you can get them down to. The furniture dealer near me that has the current "special" is Parker Furniture. Pretty room, very pretty. We changed out for sectional sofa around mid January. Ours is microfiber as well. It has a tweed texture but just texture, solid in color (graphite, I think is the color's name). I want to say that even if it should fall apart tomorrow, one great thing. Our cat vomited on it, food, hair and everything and it wiped right up. Not so easy when the dog ruptured her "glands" on the new hardwood floors and oriental (less than a week old) rug yesterday. We had flooding about 3 weeks ago and they just got our floors re done and dog decided it needed surgery during the night and performed her own on our floors and rugs. Yep, there's still smoking coming from my ears.

Older thread - I found this thread because I was looking for honest comments about COCOCO Home. I assume others in my situation will also stumble upon it. First, please know that the following is not intended to be a judgment re: the quality (or lack thereof) of furniture offered by COCOCO Home. I have no personal knowledge/information on this business. I am still researching several possible sources for two leather (requested by my SO) accent chairs for the hearth area in my kitchen. The only ”experience” I have re: leather furniture is one purchase made many years ago (Lillian August leather wingback chair + ottoman w downfilled cushions - which still looks great). The only reason I’m adding a comment is to call out the comment right above mine from 5 months ago. It appears to be very suspect. Based upon the content, I decided to look at the user: this is the ONLY activity @77norman77 has on Houzz. No ideas/inspiration photos saved + no other posts/comments. It just appears to contain way too many details that a typical review by a customer would not have. Also, not only did the user specifically address the areas re: construction that would typically be ”attacked” when discussing whether a sofa is of good quality, the user added more information basically ”defending” COCOCO’s choice to use construction practices that are considered ”sub-par” by high end furniture makers (for example, using plywood instead of real hardwood + a separately installed pocket coil suspension instead of integrated 8 way hand tied coils). I only know about these areas of construction because I am a bit “OCD” about researching information + reading many reviews prior to making larger purchases (it drives my SO crazy - it’s actually kind of debilitating because sometimes it becomes very difficult for me to actually pull the trigger on actually making a purchase). If the above post was made by an actual unbiased customer, I apologize for questioning your motives. I’ve just read so many reviews over the past few days where customers have spent significant (“significant” = what a reasonably knowledgeable Houzz user would consider to be a large amount of $ spent on a couch - not what Houzz professionals would consider significant - very different!) sums of money on sofas/sectionals/accent chairs, only to be very disappointed at the lack of quality after a few months of use. I don’t want the above comment to influence someone’s purchase when it sounds much more like an advertisement than an actual customer review.

A swiffer is a help but it doesn’t seem to get larger particles, not dust, which come from who knows where. Also, any small lego pieces the grandkids happen to accidentally drop and which slide under the sofa. Once something is under there, it’s a massive job to lift the sectional pieces. They also don’t slide. We control clutter and do daily normal cleaning as well as frequent weekly vacuuming, mopping, dusting, etc. in between regular vacuuming, I use a Robot vacuum. Its not a huge deal, just temporarily irritating whem I shine a flashlight under the sectional and see how much debris is under there.
