Actually, it was Menard's, a much smaller hardware chain. There is no Lowe's near here, unfortunately. I used to pass one on my way to school (70 miles away) until I graduated last fall. I would plan an hour before class just to stop there! That's where I got all my Orientals to form the backbone of my lily collection. (And more perennials than I can count) All those turned out to be true, so I was lucky. But the Regals never grew. I'm open to surprises: I've found it often makes gardening more fun. If I feel I have to have something specific (like the Black Beauty I needed last fall), I'll go ahead and order from B&Bs or somewhere. After posting here this morning I google searched these varieties. For two, Monte Negro and Navona I found pictures/listings that matched the pictures on the box;(now lets see if the actual flowers match the names!) For Toronto, the one that is supposed to be salmon with a yellow center, I found listings for a both the yellow as pictured, and a solid pink lily! For Kansas I found nothing at all. That picture is SO pretty I sure hope it will be like that; I'm not a fan of yellow, but this was so delicate and soft. For Bahia Blanca found nothing. Do post that picture of the blue lily! Sounds fascinating.

Awe... that look like fun! You guys make a great team! It's so much more fun going with a fellow addict huh? Going w/ the family was a little hectic last year for me. I kept losing my baby girl! Then at the end they went to load the van and I was still inside looking one last time and I lost them all! No idea where DH parked, so I sat at the step waiting for them to come find me. LOL. If I go this year I need to find a partner. :) Anyway congrats on your haul! Everything look so healthy!

forboystoo - I like that finish - is it zinc? I ordered iron because it was less expensive and it works best with the iron details on my front doors, but I really like the zinc finish too. sjhockey - I wish I would have known I could have gotten an extra discount on the linen sheets with the last sale. I have a few sets for my master but would have bought some for the guest bed. I love them too - no more overheating at night ever since I started using them!

We have a beautiful custom made pool table in our great room. It was used often during the first year and then hardly ever. It is a good place for us to put our folded clean laundry and paperwork that needs to be filed! It was great fun during parties though, not sure why we never use it. Maybe because it always has laundry and paperwork on it :) I'm glad to hear they're coming back in style. We're readying our house for sale and maybe house hunters will be glad to see a room dedicated to a pool table. Would be nice to negotiate it into the purchase price so we don't have to sell it on CL or take it with us across the country.
