Officially started my master bath remodel - some pics
Comments (4)lucycakes - here's the link to the Costco product. I read everything they had - the installation instructions, specs, etc, and it sounds like an excellent product. Costcos heat mat weedy - Thanks for the post. I read your posts and looked at your pictures and I was very impressed. I'm not sure if I ever posted comments or not; I think (hope) so, because you bath turned out beautifully. If mine turns out to be almost as good I'll be very happy....See Moremy bathroom. I'll post from start to finish
Comments (84)Folkman, Thanks for your response. You answered the wall paint color question I had. I did find where you mentioned the tumbled marble had 00412 on the boxes and you also mentioned Antique Gold. Someone else mentioned color names noche and chiaro. I will check at HD using those names. The only other name I will wait for is the floor tile name and color. I have looked at several of the HD porcelain tiles and like them all. Some even look like marble. I just love the entire look of your bath. Did you ever take some final pictures that show your shower door and your sink faucet? Would love to see the final look. Thanks for posting your work. It is a great thread to show from beginning to end. Thanks again for taking the time to reply to my questions. This is the best forum for this kind of idea help!...See MoreThoughts on potential remodel? (x-post)
Comments (2)That is something I batted around, LL! With my proposed cabinet layout (which I haven't posted yet, because I first wanted to focus on the space itself) right where you have the pantry door, I was going to have my dish storage (uppers and drawers so it's in good proximity to the DW. I was also hoping to nestle the fridge back into the pantry a few inches, and doing an interior door into the bathroom means the bathroom has to be 5x5 (instead of 4'6 x 5)which means I either won't have the room to "nestle" the fridge, or my cabinets on that wall of the kitchen may not be able to be full depth. We are talking inches here, so maybe i'm wrong? I wish I knew more about construction and wall thickness, lol! Maybe I should post a layout or two showing cabinet placement?...See MoreSo close to starting MBath remodel, but still not sure on choices
Comments (19)Thanks for the picture of your shower, roarah. I love the band of sea glass! And localeater, you feel my pain, don't you?? :) For the smallest room in the house, there are SO many decisions to make!! I have spent hours and hours on Houzz and have not seen the pics you found. I love the first and thirds pics. In the first one, the shower tile is all white, but with the combination of the 2 sizes of tile and the chair rail it doesn't look plain to me. However, it does appear to be a little smaller than 3' X 5'. I wonder if that would make a difference. And you even found a bathroom with a herringbone floor! I also like the mosaic border in the third picture. Do you have any idea what a mosaic like that would be called so I can search for it? Everyone has been SO helpful by adding pics to illustrate numerous options for me. The pics have been a huge help! Like I said, I've spent so much time searching on Houzz, yet these pics are much closer to what would work best in our bathroom. Thank you!!...See Morebac717
