Is anyone else having problem with pests too?
Comments (24)rhizo_1, "Are you promoting this product without even trying it first?" Your implication that I am promoting the product is false. And I never said I tried it first. Deb mentioned that her container garden was covered with aphids, and I suggested that she might want to try the Bug Blaster. It was just a suggestion and not a promotion. "Are you selling it via one of the HVH private home parties?" Your implication that I am selling something is false. Your implication that I am associated with Hidden Valley Hibiscus is also false. I am in no way associated with Hidden Valley Hibiscus and I am in no way associated with Bug Blaster. I don't know anything about any HVH private home parties. And I am not selling anything. "Be careful, this appears to be the worst kind of spam." I am not doing any kind of spam. I was merely bringing a water spraying device to the attention of Deb that I thought she might not be aware of, and that she might possibly be interested in. I was merely providing information and I was not trying to make a sale. I don't stand to benefit in any way from this. I was merely trying to do a good deed by taking the time and effort to supply links that might be relevant and interesting to Deb. Perhaps you were also attempting to do a good deed by jumping in to protect Deb from the big bad TV pitchman. But to me, your false implications come off as mean spirited and this feels like another instance of "No good deed shall go unpunished." Comments (9)Mid September, 2015, we had installed Certainteed unfaced fiberglass insulation and it had a terrible smell. It actually made my wife sick and we had to move out for a months . There were no other building materials installed for several weeks. As a retired carpenter, I have smelled a lot of insulation in my time but never smelled anything this strong. I called both the insulation contractor and the Certainteed rep to come and inspect. It over a week for the contractor to show up and they only sent a lead hand. His first comment was, "I don't smell a thing". After pressing him a bit, he admitted he did smell the insulation but that it was not strong. It was true that a lot of the odour had off gassed but was still very noticeable. The end result was all they would do was send me the MSDS sheet so show how safe it is. The Certainteed rep for BC was no better/different except it took him over two weeks to appear after I made my first complaint to Certainteed. He said he would make his report to head office. After not hearing anything for a month, I called him and he said there was nothing they could do as it had been approved by Health Canada. It is now just over two months later and most of the odour has dissipated but I can still smell it in an interior stairwell so that tells me that it is leaking into the house somewhere. Unfortunately, my wife has developed a sensitivity to dust and woodsmoke that she did not have before....See MoreOT - is anyone else having problems with GW?
Comments (5)It seems to be irratic. Have problems at times, but for today it is fine. They have been posting at the top the last couple weeks about problems you are describing. So they are definitely aware of them and working on this....See MoreAnyone else have this problem?
Comments (1)I don't have that problem but I don't have Safari (or a Mac). I suspect the blue square with white question mark indicates an image which isn't displaying. Of what, I don't know. Since you're losing the ability to click links, perhaps the image would overlay the entire page if it were to display. If so, I would bet you also lose the ability to scroll? If you right-click the square, do you get any clues? Myself, I'd probably try resetting Safari. Of course since you have the same problem on two machines it likely won't help but it's easy enough to try, won't hurt, and might help. Did you have the same problem before you updated Safari on the newer machine? If not, it might be a bug in the latest Safari. Does the problem occur using another browser such as Firefox? Firefox (Apple Store) I'm not a tech, just a regular user, so what I've written are just my initial thoughts/hunches/guesses. Hopefully someone else can be more helpful....See More- 7 years ago
