Homemade Hoss Wheel Hoe

I have always wanted to try a wheel hoe, but the old High wheel cultivators were what I was use to. They are pretty much worthless. But I have seen so many people talk about the planet jr and hoss wheel hoe design and how it is much better. Due to an Amazon gift list error, I received an oscillating hoe attachment for my birthday. I decided to make a wheel hoe. This one cost me $0.40. $0.20 a pound for scrap angle iron. I had the solid rubber wheel from an old kids bike and the handle came from an old scrapped troybilt tiller. I just had to drill the holes to match it all up.

It works like a champ and is very easy to push. I was surprised at how easy it was to push and how good a job it does. I have all the pieces for a double wheel hoe now, along with the sweeps and cultivator tines.
