Am I crazy for wanting a 2 stroke????
Comments (20)'I add MMO to the fuel ' They love MMO! One guy years ago said he was preparing his LB for the winter and ran it out of gas. He put MMO into the tank and pulled the starter to get some of it into the engine - and it started! 'Started' might be a rather loose description, but it did actually get combustion, puffing a few times and blowing quite a fog. So he accomplished exactly what he wanted in a most unexpected way. I think what actually happened is there is always some gas left in the fuel bowl when you run it out of gas. The MMO mixed with that and got the level high enough to be picked up, hence the 'starting'. I don't think one will actually get combustion on pure MMO, but there is nothing better for your OPE....See MoreAm I crazy to want to cut down my new pantry?
Comments (7)Yes, I agree with bmorepanic. Look at it for a few weeks if you can. When our cabinets first went in I thought our refrigerator cabinet was outrageously huge. It was built for a regular depth Samsung french door refrigerator, cabinet panels on each side with a full depth cabinet above. We started calling it the White Cliffs of Dover. Even though the fridge hasn't been installed yet we are now used to looking at the whole assembly and it doesn't seem so big. I think it really was just the visual shock of our big space starting to get filled up that made us think it was too big....See More24' Round IG DIY Install - Am I Crazy?
Comments (4)I think this is something that you easily can do yourself. Honestly, building a mediocre pool is not very hard which is why there are so many cowboys (terrible contractors) in the pool industry. Comments (46)UPDATE: Thanks to you guys here (and mostly thanks to Joseph Corlett's link regarding Silestone slab sizes), they agreed to do away with one of the seams. They kept insisting that they would not do a stretch of stone more than 110", and when I insisted that my color of Silestone comes in jumbo slabs of 128", they "did some research" and conceded that I was correct, and there is no need for two seams in my 150" stretch of counter. I'm updating here for anyone who may have the same questions and issues that I did. I spent countless hours researching and digging and arguing, so hopefully I can save someone else the hassle. You can check the Silestone website for the slab sizes in your color. There is no need for a seam to "prevent cracks"; Silestone is (allegedly) 4x bendier than granite, and if you wanted to put the whole damn slab down you could. Keep in mind though - if your Silestone DOES crack or chip at some point (and it will...it's notorious for chipping despite the durability claims) - you're on the hook for it. Their "warranty" does not cover cracks or chips. Hundreds of consumers have told their stories about bumping a water glass against the edge and it chips, with no damage to the glass, and Cosentino denies the claims, citing abuse of the counter or something. Same with random cracks, etc. Just be aware - these are issues that you will have to call Joseph Corlett to come fix, out of your own pocket. I love the look of mine so I'm willing to deal with those issues, but buyer beware....See Moremayflowers
